This 2 oz vegan brew is a nice bitter blend of roasted roots. These young roots are perfect for flushing out your system and getting ready for springtime. Turmeric is best absorbed by the body when you add black pepper and a fat source. We added in the black pepper, just add in some sort of fat (coconut oil, ghee, butter, etc.) to get the full benefits.
Suggested usage: Place a tablespoon of the Roasted Root in 16 oz of water, cover and bring to a simmer. Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes reducing the liquid by about 1/2, strain, add a tsp of coconut oil, ghee or some other fat source, sweeten/add a nut milk (optional) and enjoy a cup or two a day.
