Many moons ago at a Women's Herbal Conference Heidi was introduced to electuaries.  These herbal remedies combine powdered herbs with honey to create a tasty way to consume less palatable medicinals.  We have experimented with vegan formulas, but have yet to discover a natural ingredient to rival the preservative power of honey.
