Herbal Remedies 101 Workshop

Always wanted to make your own herbal remedies, but not sure where to start?  Have you read the books, blogs and online tutorials but still nervous about doing it wrong?

In this 3 hour hands-on workshop we are going to help push you past your fears and help you gain the confidence you need to create your very own herbal remedies.

What we will be learning:

• Infusion vs. decoction
• Poultice vs compress
• Common herbal terminology
• How to make essential oils and hydrosols
• Creating basic herbal remedies including glycerites and tinctures
• Creating your own infused oil
• Learning to turn your infused oil into a salve

In order to streamline this process and get you the most hands-on time making medicine, we will NOT be discussing:

• Materia medica of plants
• Herbal constituents
• Plant energetics
• “Curing” any ailments

Each participant will leave with:

• 2 oz hydrosol spray
• 1 oz tincture
• 2 oz salve
• Their own infused oil
• Their own macerating tincture
